The Steel Dog® Fiberglass Tie for aluminum forms is a direct substitute for conventional steel flat ties. Using fiberglass eliminates rust concerns as well as patching/deep-breakback requirements. The unique design enables seamless installation with standard pins and wedges, no special hardware required! Ties are broken off flush with the finished wall, and tinted gray to match the color of concrete. Perfect for exposed walls, avoiding deep breakback requirements, thermal mass walls, pools, precast products, or anywhere that steel ties pose an issue.

Heavy Duty Loop ties carry a safe working load of 3000 lbs with optional cones and waterseal. We can make loop ties to meet any specification. Virtually any configuration of length, breakback depth, or end arrangement is possible, all with a rapid 2-3 day lead time on most orders.

Steel Dog Resi-Ties come in two standard variations— Straight and Bent. Bent ties feature a v-notch on the inner breakback for ultra-reliable breakoff with a single hammer blow.
Tie production is rigorously monitored using a 4 point test to measure breakoff resistance, tensile strength, length, and field abuse.

Pour Commercial Walls with Residential Forms
The DB Resi-Tie™, with an 1-1/2” breakback and optional waterstop, makes it possible to pour commercial-specification concrete walls with 1-1/8” form panels. The precisely crimped ends of this round wire tie fit the swing latches of standard 1-1/8” forms in the same way as standard flattened-wire ties.
Unlike some other ties, the DB Resi-Tie™ is a round wire tie, so a plastic cone is not necessary for the tie to break back to the proper depth in most circumstances. (To ensure good breakback without cone, we apply a bond-breaker wax finish around the breakback area). If needed to ensure breakback, or for finishing purposes, plastic cones are available at extra cost. Cone size is 1.25” diameter by 1.5” long. A neoprene washer waterstop is also available.
The DB Resi-Tie™ is available from stock in many common sizes. Any size is available by special order.

Standard-duty snap ties with plastic cones standard. We can make snap ties in a wide range of wall thicknesses, tail lengths, and breakback depths. We can make any size but we specialize in long lengths (up to 52ft), fractional sizes, odd breakbacks, stainless steel, galvanized, etc. Usually with a 2-3 day turnaround.

A Simple Solution to Wall Jogs and Pilasters
Strengthen wall jogs with ties measured for the job
Steel Dog Hook Ties are used at a wall jog to securely hold a corner in place by hooking onto another tie. Hook ties are an alternative to the Steel Dog Offset Tie. They’re particularly helpful in places where offset ties cannot be used, such as a T-Wall with a pilaster (shown below).
Hook Ties are made using a high tensile round wire and feature a 170DEG “shepherds hook” that’s stronger than a flat wire hook tie. Common sizes are for 8”, 10”, and 12” walls, but they can be custom made to any size!

Steel Dog® Field Ties™ are the fastest, most cost effective way to make up long ties. A pair of Field Ties™ coupled with a length of #3 rebar or pencil rod can be assembled in seconds, NO expensive freight, NO lead time.
