A Simple Solution to Wall Jogs and Pilasters

Strengthen wall jogs with ties measured for the job

Steel Dog Hook Ties are used at a wall jog to securely hold a corner in place by hooking onto another tie.  Hook ties are an alternative to the Steel Dog Offset Tie.  They’re particularly helpful in places where offset ties cannot be used, such as a T-Wall with a pilaster (shown below).

Hook Ties are made using a high tensile round wire and feature a 170DEG “shepherds hook” that’s stronger than a flat wire hook tie. Common sizes are for 8”, 10”, and 12” walls, but they can be custom made to any size!
